hi,
installed Beta 2 of Vista and all appears to be fine so far apart from the DVD drive, the system states that the device driver has installed correctly but the driver software isn't working so that means the device isn't working or functionaing.
has anyone come across the problem and a solution

PHILIPS DVD+-RW DVD8631
try the upperfilters / lower filters fix from XP, it has worked for me and others in this forum / community
